Otázka o rybách
Here is the sentence:
"Sedem malých rýb je čelom k veľkej rybe."
How do the cases work here? I think the seven fish are "genitív", but I'm not sure about the large fish. Lokatív?
I was expecting a "nominatív" case... could someone explain this example?

"Malých rýb" is in Akusativ.
It would be in Nominativ only with numbers: 2, 3, 4.
Numbers 5 and higher are with Akusativ.
As Sergey said ""Su" must be used as a subject of a sentence and in Nominativ only". This is reason why "sú" in next sentence:
Tri malé ryby sú čelom k veľkej rybe.

As far as I can see from the original sentence, "sedem malych ryb" is used in Nominativ. Vel"key rybe is used in Dativ.
We don't use the word "su", because it means "they" as far as I undestand. "Su" must be used as a subject of a sentence and in Nominativ only. "Je" in the sentence means "are".
