Past tense in Thai

How do you say "I went" or " I lived"? I don't know how to make a past tense in thai, can you please explaine me?

    Thai language doesn't have past tense. You simply add the words that indicate time into the sentence.

    For example:
    - I lived in Thailand. ฉัน"เคย"อาศัยอยู่ที่ประเทศไทย
    The word "เคย/keoy" means "used to" --> I used to live in Thailand

    There are a lot of other words that can be used to indicate timing ^^
