Well, here's my 2 recommendations: 1) Hajime no ippou This is an manga-cum-anime about how the protagonist, Hajime, work all his way from a rookie to the top tier boxer in his boxing career. Why Good？ - It has a good and inspirational story line. - I think it is one of highly polished sports anime. If you are a fan of boxing, you might want to pick it up. I wasnt a fan but I picked up quite a few jargons and rules while watching. 2) One Piece This is an manga-cum-anime about how the journey of Luffy, the protagonist to becoming a the legendary Pirate King. It is a long adventure saga but new characters are added as story develops. Why Good? - A fun and light story setting and the characters of the story are uniquely designed. - Its about friendship and camaraderie and also the spirit of following through your dreams.
