Language Learning Social Network appoints Steven Huang to its Board of Directors

June 10, 2008 - SHANGHAI, China – Language learning social network italki.com announced Steven Huang has joined its Board of Directors. Huang is the fourth member of the Board of Directors, along with CEO Yongyue Jiang, co-founder Kevin Chen, and business angel William Bao Bean. Huang has extensive experience in global finance, banking, and investments; he is currently a vice president at an international private equity firm, Shipston Group Limited.

Huang joined italki through the investment made by Talk da Talk, a Shanghai-based experiential teaching company. Huang joined italki as an early investor and backer, believing in the concept of interactive learning and language exchange.

Steven Huang will bring his fundraising experience and knowledge of the investment community to italki.
