Hi, I’m Julia and I’m from Moscow.
I’ve been with BKC-International House for the best part of my life. This exciting journey started when I became an Elementary student at BKC-Zelenograd at the age of 15 and by the time I finished school I’d already had both FCE and CAE certificates.
When I was a third year university student, I came to BKC again to work as a receptionist. I still wanted to continue studying English but there wasn’t a Proficiency level group available so I organised one myself! In no time at all I had a CPE certificate in my collection.
After I graduated from university, I had to make an important decision about my future job. Shall I use my degree in Financial Management which has been utterly boring for me or shall I do something connected with languages which have always fascinated me?
Needless to say, I chose the latter.I did my CELTA in August 2004 and since then I’ve been teaching and developing myself. Some stations during my journey with BKC brought me my IH Certificate in Teaching Younger Learners in 2005, my DELTA in 2007 and my BKC Certificate in Teaching for Exams in 2008. This journey also took me to IH-Malaysia for 3 months in 2008 and to BKC-Kuntsevo/Krylatskoe where I enjoyed working as an ADOS with a wonderful team of teachers from all over the world and teaching students of various ages and levels.
Who knows where this journey will take me next? See you there!
