My name is Edward, and teaching is *my life*! I studied in university to become a teacher, and also acquired my TEFL certificate in order to teach English abroad. My passion is languages, so naturally, I take great pleasure in helping others learn English and explain difficult linguistic concepts in a simple way for people to understand.
I am currently studying Russian, and know how difficult it is to learn a foreign language, especially without a good teacher. I promise I can help you learn our difficult tense system, endless modal verbs, ridiculously long list of gerunds, and every rule you can possible imagine regarding the English language. Or, if you are only interested in talking like a normal speaker, I will be happy to help you learn everyday expressions and phrases that you simply won't find in a textbook, but will hear EVERY DAY you spend in an English speaking country. I am a very pragmatic teacher. :)
I teach formal lessons and tutoring sessions - formal lessons are custom-designed for my students, and are very learner-centric - that means you will be speaking 80% of the time, while I gently correct you at the end of the lesson so that you can maximize your speaking time. If you have a question about grammar, word choice, I will definitely be able to assist you in explaining everything clearly and precisely! At the end of each lesson, I promise you will have a practical assortment of new phrases, words, or grammar rules which you will be able to confidently use in a real-life situation. Если Вы говорите по-русски, и хотели бы чтобы я объяснял что-то на русском, это проблемой не будет. ) Хотя я считаю, что это лучше общаться на уроке по-английски, если Вы бы преподчли объеснение на русском, это возможно. ))
