About yuriInformal lessons:
We’ll have conversations on basically any topic you like. I will correct any mistakes that you make and will also answer any questions that you may have. For these lessons, you will need to know at least basic Japanese grammar and should at least be able to communicate at a basic level. I do not use any books or prepare any other materials for informal lessons, but I’d be happy to ask you questions for you to practice answering during the session.
I will teach using materials that I have prepared in advance. Professional courses are more structured than informal courses. I will prepare a variety of exercises, activities and drills to engage you. Unlike informal lessons which are just open conversation, professional lessons will follow a lesson plan similar to that of a classroom course.
I can help you reach your Japanese goals. Professional lessons can start at the very basics of Japanese conversation and take you up to an upper intermediate speaking level. For that reason, most materials I prepare are aimed at improving your communication/conversation skills.
*** In case you need to reschedule or cancel ***
I know that things happen and sometimes people can’t make it to their scheduled lesson, if something comes up or you feel ill, you can reschedule the session as long as you let me know at least 24 hours before the lesson is scheduled to begin.
If you would like to cancel your lesson instead of rescheduling, please send me a notification before cancelling.
Once your session time has passed I will not be able to reschedule, I am very sorry.
Thanks a lot for your cooperation, please understand that once a lesson is booked, whether or not a student shows up that is time that I have already set aside.
