My name is Matthew and I live in Cleveland, Ohio. I am a native English speaker, and have studied French for the last two years at Lakeland Community College (and have done much extra work outside of the classroom). I also studied Spanish for two years before that, and have picked up bits of Hindi, Greek, and Italian on my own. I'm studying to become a language professor and a freelance translator. I have a year of experience tutoring foreign English students via Skype for free. I love language, writing, travel, and making new friends. I also love sharing my knowledge, especially of language, and I am a very patient and curious teacher with a great eye for detail. I have a thorough understanding of grammar and am an excellent speller.
