About Jennifer RHi everyone, my name is Jennifer, but feel free to call me Jen! I am a native English speaker and can help you reach your fluency goal!
In order to do that, be prepared to speak throughout our whole session because I will push you out of your comfort zone! Don't worry, I won't be cruel, or harsh, or mean. I remember my first time practicing my French with someone and how incredibly nervous I was. I am patient and will automatically tune my session for your level.
Here's a snippet of my outline:
• You will talk about your past, present, future. The goal here is for you to get used to using all tenses so you can talk about what you did yesterday, what you are doing today, and what you are going to do tomorrow.
• Role play: I will provide 1 or 2 scenarios that we will act out as if you were dealing it in real life. For example, let's say you are traveling to Germany by train and someone stole your bag which had your passport, credit card, and keys. I will pretend to be the police officer and you will pretend to tell me what happened.
For those who may have an oral exam or interview for a job or class, we can also go over possible questions you may be asked and learn how you can respond to them!
For job interviews in the United States, I've had work experience in a career office for over a year. I can help you prepare for every step of the way, while also helping you practice your English as well! I can edit cover letters and resumes. I do not create them from scratch, however, what I do is help you learn how to do it on your own. I will go over any resumes and cover letters you have written and check for grammar and consistency.
