From 1987--2002, I had a number of teaching positions, primarily in the US, teaching all subjects to students from 9-13 years old, though I did have a 2-year-spell in Japan, where I taught English as a Second Language. After 15 years, though, I was burned out from teaching in the public school system. I tried a number of jobs, but that's all they were----jobs to pay the bills. I am only happy when I am teaching, so in 2011, I decided to leave the US and teach ESL again, this time in Ukraine. I love the country here, and plan to stay. A friend just started teaching on this site, and he suggested I give it a try. Many of my students are opting for packages, as they recognize that I KNOW how to teach.
I prefer to teach higher-level students--intermediate and above, but I will offer conversation classes to anyone.

My services are as follows:
A) 30-minute trial lesson 50 ITC
B) 60-minute conversation class Simply speaking about whatever subjects come up, no preparation for either the student or the teacher, but you will receive feedback on what to work on. 130 ITC
C) 60-minute English class, featuring the Headway series, with supplemental materials 150 ITC
D) 60-minute Business English class, featuring the Market Leader series, with supplemental materials 150 ITC
E) 60-minute International English Exams tutorials. The student provides me with the materials for their test 150 ITC

For option E, above, the student must commit to AT LEAST 2 classes per week, and I strongly recommend that any students opting for C or D likewise commit to a twice-a-week schedule. Discounted rates on packages, as I'd rather have a smaller number of committed students. I can supply electronic versions of all of these texts at no charge.
