Hi everyone! My name is Ethan. I feel confident to say that I have the same passion for learning new languages as all of you do. I began to learn Spanish at the age of 12 and continued throughout high school. You see, I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and wanted to learn this language in order to discuss the wonderful hopes the Bible contains with the people that speak this language. While in school, I also served as an English tutor for a group of foreign exchange students from the Dominican Republic. My senior year, I recieved a certificate of exellence in Spanish level 5.
After graduation, I began a program with the state of Indiana to become a certified legal interpreter in Spanish. During that time, I also recieved private tutoring in proper interpretation and translation techniques for aproximately 8 months. I am still in the process of finishing the certification process, but am more than capable of helping you to deepen your understanding of Spanish. I also have experience with professional translation. In the past, I have been employed as a private interpreter in the courtroom setting.
My classes center around the basics of Spanish grammar and vocabulary building. Wether you have just began your quest to learn, or just want to sharpen your skills,rest assured I will do my utmost to provide an environment that is warm and comfortable for everyone involved.
