Hello. I'm teaching English, Spanish and Serbian and have great experience teaching all of them, especially Spanish for beginners. My tip is: try to have a non-native teacher. They're more likely to have experience with grammar than natives.

About Mladen

Hello, everyone! First of all, thank you for taking time to read what I have to say. If you any questions what-so-ever, contact me directly.

My name is Mladen Josifović, and I'm from Serbia. One thing you need to know about me is that I simply love to learn new languages and pass my knowledge to others. I've been speaking English since I was 4, so that gives me 17 years of practice! Spanish I have been speaking and learning for a little less time, though.

I have my own way of thinking about language learning. To learn a new language, you first must teach your own brain how to think in that language and not in your native language. I know, that's a bit hard. And you know what? It's the hardest step in the whole language learning process. When you do that, you're set to go! You'll master a language in no-time!

I supply students with my own materials for our sessions. That's because not everyone thinks and learns in the same manner. Some like to learn through texts, some want to learn the grammar first. And that OK. But, sadly, not one book about a certain language appeals to all it's users. So, I try my best to present the student with the best possible materials for his/her way of thinking and leaning a language. Unfortunately, that takes me about two italki sessions to figure everything out. That being said, don't expect a super productive first session, because it might not happen for you. Maybe you think that I'm a bad teacher for the first sessions or two, but are amazed a couple a sessions later. So, please, be patient for at least two sessions for me to "learn" YOU.
