About Svenja

Dear student, I am a German native speaker enrolled in University in Germany. Even though I do not study in order to become a teacher I have a broad knowledge about the different levels of language, grammar and literature. Still in the process of learning foreign languages and with a background of diverse stays abroad I do know how challenging learning a new language can be and how to overcome timidity and struggles. I have taught students before in other languages and due to numerous friendships with non-native speakers I developed a sense for encouraging beginners to speak German. I would be happy to prepare you for exams or studies abroad adapting the pace and content of the tutoring to your needs. We can practice grammar, conversational skills or vocabulary on topics of your choice. Since I am knowledgable about political science I could also provide you with the necessary vocabulary and scientific language in this field. I would propose German as a teaching language but if you are just beginning to learn German I would also be glad to teach in English. Yours, Svenja
