Hey everyone, I am Lina from Bogotá, Colombia. I'm a lawyer and I'm currently studying a master's degree in teaching Spanish., I like travelling, nature and animals, biking, I am passionate about languages and music, music has been so important in my learning process. Music has always played an important role in learning and culture. It is a fact that the execution of musical instruments, and even singing, help to develop language, memory and attention skills, in the music you can perceive the structures, the tonalities, notes of a musical phrase and the harmony. The process is the same with a foreign language: the language is composed of words formed from sounds.

Me as a Teacher

I have 7 years of experience teaching,I have experience with people of all ages and all levels . I'm very happy to help you improve your language skills and make the class more practical and fun,we will work on your communication skills concerning reading, speaking and writing. if you want to have a class according to your needs, feel comfortable and natural when you are speaking a second language and have fun, please do not hesitate to contact me :)

My lessons & teaching style

as a student of foreign languages I know how difficult it is to learn a new language, so I can be in your shoes, I like to teach in the same way I would like to be taught. I like to make a customized learning program according to the needs of each student, for this purpose, I use many tools such as exercises, texts, books, videos, music etc. of course, without leaving the conversation practice aside, because I'm sure practice makes you a much better speaker and I say this from experience. I try to make the class more didactic and entertaining to make students feel comfortable and confident to speak Spanish.

Lina is simply an excellent teacher. She is highly intelligent, kind, sympathetic, funny and is able to converse about any topic. She makes you feel comfortable and always is reassuring when you make a mistake - this highly conducive to the learning process. I had a lot of fun and learned a great deal in our first lesson, which is the first of many more to come. I also want to mention that Lina is an excellent human being as well and it was an absolute pleasure to learn Spanish with her.
