About Marco

My name is Marco. I am from Chile and I teach Spanish as a foreign language. I have a MA in Applied Linguistics and a BA in translation. Some of my areas of expertise include grammar, literature, reading comprehension, written production and language acquisition. I know the different approaches to language teaching and put them into practice in my lessons. My experience in Italki has been really positive. I hope I can be a real contribution to your Spanish learning and look forward to meeting you soon.

    I taught Spanish grammar to American students from the University of California in a language programme called Lengua y Cultura. I was also in charge of the cultural trips of the programme, in which students learn about the language and the culture of my country throught different tasks related to Latin American culture
