About Profesor of languesAs a person born and raised in Spain, I possess a native-speaker competence in Spanish and a sound knowledge of the societies of the Hispanic world. I have recently earned an MD on the teaching of Spanish as an L2 and I have also participated in two European research projects focusing on learning/teaching materials for Spanish on mobile devices. I have just completed an International Doctorate in Philological Studies with an MPhil and a PhD dissertation on sociolinguistics and written multilingualism. I also hold an MA in English and a BA in MFL: English and French. Over the last years, several stays in the UK and France have enabled me to develop quite good communication skills in English and French as well as the ability to use them as a teaching medium. As part of the tasks included in my previous jobs, I have also been thoroughly trained to teach at different academic settings via teacher training programmes within several research fellowships and a PGCE-equivalent qualification course. I have also been awarded full QTS to teach to undergraduate levels (Teacher Ref. No: 1384850). Firstly, I have performed the duties as a Supply Lecturer in university courses; secondly, I have taught language lessons for secondary students in a public school; and thirdly, I have equally tutored children and more mature students with language learning difficulties as a private tutor. My teaching method puts the learner right at the centre of everything. My main priority is to help all my students in their learning process; this is why I always listen to their demands and try to tailor my lessons in order to best cater for their learning needs. Should you need to improve your language skills in Spanish (elementary, intermediate, and advanced), or your grammar knowledge in English (elementary and intermediate) and French (elementary), I put my entire knowledge at your disposal. ¡Gracias por tu atención! / Thanks for your attention! / Merci de ton attention !
