Isabel

This was the last class of my 5-class beginner package deal and I’m planning to get another one to continue my Portuguese studies. Isabel is a great teacher and considering I basically knew nothing when I started, I have improved a lot. I’d suggest to follow all the homework and watch the suggested videos to get the most out of it. The package deal classes are definitely very useful for a beginner and Isabel is a great teacher.

I believe most people learn a language from a teacher that is native to the language they want to learn. I decided to learn Spanish from Isabel even though she is from Brazil and her native language is Portuguese. I wanted someone that had to learn the language that I am trying to learn. It has been a great experience - I have taken over 100 lessons with Isabel. When I started, I could barely say the Spanish alphabet and now I can have general conversations and have a good understanding of the grammar. Isabel has a great grasp for want it takes to learn Spanish. If you want to learn Spanish especially the technical parts of the language as in grammar and tenses, which helps to speak the language, I would highly recommend Isabel.

Ok sempre percebo que está um processo paralelo acontecendo quando vc está aprendendo uma língua de novo. Há muitos inícios e paradas. Há muitos momentos ao onde fiquei frustada o queira terminar tudo. Se eu faço alguma coisa todos os dias que aumentar minha compreensão eu estou tendo movimento. Isabel sempre faz aula interessante e divertida mesmo que eu esteja com confuso. Ela nunca parece ter impaciência com meu processo. Se eu tenho uma pergunta sobre português ou nossa aula eu posso mandar dela uma mensagem e ela vai responder em breve. Eu não acho que seja fácil aprender uma língua para maioria das pessoas. Porém, se vc tivesse uma professor/a profissional te ajudar o processo seria uma grande aventura. Isabel é um profissional nos aspectos todos.

Isabel is incredible! I haven’t had as much time in my work week for my language lessons, but seeing her reminded me of how amazing she is as a teacher. I can’t recommend her enough. Obrigada, Isabel!
