I studied at McGill and Montreal University in Social Sciences and East-Asian Studies, worked as a conversational French and English teacher for speakers of other languages in private institutions such as the renowned Berlitz Learning Center, community centers and organizations in multicultural areas in Montreal, at the Dongguan Translation Service Center and Xi'an Fanyi University in Mainland China. My approach is a customer-oriented one, which means that it'll adjusted myself to my customer's needs, skills and language level. For example, if my client needs to work on interpersonal conversations with coworkers, I'll build my lesson plan accordling. If he/she wants to prepare his/her travel to a French speaking country, I'll employ useful phrases and vocabulary my client will encounter during his/her trip. I believe in the presence of lots of interactions between the teacher and his student, even if the later has only a beginner. Adults already have acquired structured sentences along their life, so can progress rapidly with the right method and the right teacher. Simply put, it means that with daily efforts and lots of interactions with a patient and joyful teacher, French or English won't be a headache to you anymore.
