I'm an electrical engineer who began to flirt with linguistics (first phonetics and phonology) and that ended up falling in love with it. Today I'm also an undergraduate student of Brazilian Language and Literature at the Universidade de Brasília.
I love the perspective of studying foreign languages, mostly because they bring us so many cultural and behavioral explanations. Anyway, sociolinguistics is not among my favorite branches.
I can teach you brazilian portuguese, which is (mostly in speaking) a bit different from the european variant (also spoken in some african countries). I may help you in both active (speaking and composing) and passive (listening and reading) domains. I'm also in the middle of a process for developing my own methodology for teaching brazilian portuguese, so, this is a bit of a laboratory. I also have some skills in syntax and phonetics; the first one will make me help you put the commas in the right place and the second will help you speak more precisely.
I can speak english and spanish. Also have some basic french and little knowledge of ancient languages (latin and greek).
My interests are music, computers, electronics, martial arts, sports, the catholic religion, ...
Come on, let's play together!!!
