Background:
I started to give lessons in 1996 as a teacher of the institutes "Schülerhilfe", "Studienkreis" and "Volkshochschule". Since 2001 I am a full-time private teacher and since 2008 I am also teaching online.
At the moment I am studying BA. English at Ramkanghaeng University in Bangkok.

Teaching Approach:
I will teach differently depending on your needs and the kind of lesson you book.
The beginners’ course leads you from no knowledge at all to a founded base where you are able to understand easy texts, have a small talk conversation or write simple letters. I will use pictures, flash cards and my own website to support your learning progress.
The conversational lessons are the right choice for you, if you want to improve your spoken German. We will talk about topics you like, and you will get readings (novels or newspaper articles) as homework to read and to talk about it in the lessons. Main focus is to get you talking as much and as freely as possible. Every 3rd lesson I will prepare exercises based on your mistakes during the lessons.
Individual lessons are more intensive than pure conversational ones. In the beginning we will find out your goals and tailor a lesson-plan according to your goals. Every plan will be made for you individually according to your time/willingness to do lessons and extra-homework. You will get an outline of the lesson-plan and every month we will test your progress, so you can easily see your success.
The most challenging lessons are test preparations. We will talk about the test you are going to take and the time-frame we have. I will prepare a lesson plan, lots of exercises and homeworks. In regular time-gaps we will measure your success in short test-like quizzes. This course will be the most intensive one and requires quite some time between our lessons for homework, reading and exercises.
