About Gad

My name is Gad and I am an English teacher. I have been teaching for about 4 years, and I will get the CELTA teaching certificate from Cambridge University in November.

I have a skills-based approach, designed to help my students develop their speaking, writing, listening and reading skills, but I also teach exam preparation classes, for example, IELTS, CPE, CAE and FCE, in addition to teaching grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

I have a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and I was an Engineer once, but I love discovering and exploring new horizons, so I also have certificates and many years of professional experience in sales, marketing, logistics, business management, customer service and tourism.

Accordingly, I also offer Business English classes, focusing on communication skills, leadership skills, negotiation skills etc., in addition, I teach Professional English, for example English for Engineering and English for marketing.

I learnt French on my own, and I'm currently learning German, accordingly, I fully understand the challenges associated with learning a foreign language.

I also teach Standard and Egyptian Arabic, but I currently focus on teaching English.

I have many interests, for example, I occasionally write film reviews, and I love reading, especially philosophical fiction, but I also read about culture, history, technology, science and many other topics. Moreover, I love discussing sports and lifestyles, so if you are after conversation practice, we will never run out of discussion topics and activities.
