It's nice to meet you. I've had over two year experience online helping people with their English. When you study English with me, you also get the background of my interest in health and nature. I have a four-year degree that included a lot of biology. I worked as a substitute teacher for several different school districts in Indiana, Oregon and Colorado, USA. As a lifelong learner, I have many interests. Recent research on language shows that language helps shape our attitudes. This is one reason I think it's good to communicate with a variety of people from a variety of countries around the world.

For more background information on me, I have had a small business doing wall papering and painting in people's homes for several years. When my sons were in Goshen High School I went to Goshen College in Goshen, Indiana. During the summer breaks, I returned to my small business of wall papering and painting. While working I always listen to NPR radio as they have in depth international and national news. Also, I like to write and have written articles online about public transportation.

I try to make my English classes interesting as well as informative about pronunciation and grammar. I aim to help you be a better speaker and listener.
