I am a professional online English teacher. My main qualifications are CPE(grade A) and TKT (Band 4), awarded by Cambridge University, UK. CPE and TKT are qualifications for English teachers. CPE is a language qualification for teachers and TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) is a qualification on the methodology(pedagogy) of teaching foreign languages. I was awarded top grades on all certificates. I was born in Brazil, but I grew up in the United States, in Utah. In my classes I use specific books and CDs to teach English and prepare students for exams. I follow a well-structured pedagogical program which fosters good results. I test my students at the beginning of the course to make sure I will place them at the right level and use appropriate pedagogical materials according to their level, goals and needs. I have successfully prepared and approved numerous students on Cambridge and IELTS exams over the years . I have been a licensed English Teacher for 21 years(out of which, 7 teaching online through Skype). I teach all levels from beginner to very advanced. Besides English, I also speak French and Portuguese fluently. I have an intermediate level in German, and Italian. I am learning Russian. Having learned these languages gives me a deep insight into the language acquisition process. I am deeply aware of the difficulties and challenges English learners face. Being an experienced language learner myself (I am also still learning Russian) I can understand and offer help with the issues involved in language acquisition.
