I was born in London in 1961. I moved to Malta in 1980 where I finished my education and worked as a Kindergarten teacher for 7 years. I then left teaching for a while to work as a journalist for The Malta Independent Newspaper both as a full time employee and later as a freelance writer. In 2002 I went to Oxford where I did my CELTA and have been teaching English as a foreign language since then.
I teach long and short courses in exam preparation, business English skills and general English online, in companies and to private individuals. I can help you prepare for IELTS, any of the Cambridge exams, improve your presentation and meeting skills, write your CV and prepare for job interviews or just improve your general or conversation English.
My courses are designed to meet the needs and goals of the individual student and are both effective and interesting. Even though I have taught hundreds of students in schools, companies and online I still continue to develop and improve not only my own teaching skills but also the material, resources and techniques that I use so that lessons are always motivating and productive.
Teaching English is a rewarding and enjoyable profession and my goal is to make learning rewarding and enjoyable too.
