I love teaching American Sign Language as well as conversational English and English grammar. I was an English major in college and have been an interpreter for the last two years. I have been tutoring students in English one-on-one for three years. I have taught multiple sign language classes for varied ages. I have interpreted for the deaf one-on-one, in small groups, and in large groups as well as reverse interpreting for classes, appointments, and meetings.
I offer classes in American Sign Language and English. If you have never signed before, I can teach you from the ground up. If you already have a basic understanding of ASL, I would like to help you learn to better communicate with the deaf as well as learn deaf culture and broaden your sign vocabulary. If you are interested in learning English, I can help you with your conversation, reading, writing, comprehension, speaking, and American culture. I can also help any student who is struggling with their grammar. I teach diagramming, spelling, vocabulary, analyzing, and much more in my grammar classes.
