About Olga

Hi there!
Teaching English was my major at an Educational university in Tula, Russia. Upon graduation, I was a professor of English at a polytechnic university. I also did a lot of tutoring.
I've been living in Canada, Toronto, since 1999. In 2000, I started teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technologies. I’ve taught grammar, conversation, and writing classes. This is my part-time job.
My full-time job is LINC (Language Instructions for Newcomers to Canada) instructor. I’ve been teaching level 6/7 class since 2006.
I am a very enthusiastic teacher, and I believe that new technologies and means of teaching, such as distant learning via Skype or the like, have a lot of advantages for learners.
I will be thrilled to teach at italki.
