About Francesca Mazza

I'm a qualified and experienced teacher and a local tourist guide.

After I completed my degree in Literature and Arts at the University of Pisa, Italy, I was certified as a teacher of theoretical and practical knowledge in teaching Italian to foreigners at the University of Siena, Italy. Part of the preparation for this program included training at Koinè Centre, an Italian language School for foreign students. In addition, I specialized in Business Tourism Communications receiving an Executive Master’s certification in Interpretation and Cultural Mediation & Tourism Management also from the University of Pisa.

I have taught Italian in private and public schools. These experiences have given me the opportunity to develop lesson plans on a wide range of topics and levels. I am highly skilled at customizing my teaching methods to the needs of my students. Regardless of their skill level, they gradually reach a thorough knowledge of the Italian language and culture. My methodology is flexible, creative and engaging and is effective no matter what the student’s reason is for studying the language.

Currently I am teaching Italian on-line via Skype on a one-to-one basis to students from all over the world.
