Teacher Biography

Time for yet another update.

I'm Mitch. I'm currently residing in Jeollanamdo, South Korea as a TaLK scholar. I have been teaching English on the elementary level since March of 2008. Though I spend my time teaching elementary students, I would really like the chance to also teach more advanced students, as I personally enjoy grammar and more communicative English rather than simple expressions and vocabulary building.

As I am living in South Korea, I am also very interested in studying Korean. I have lived here for some time, however I have been unable to find any Korean class near my home, so I must study alone or occasionally with Korean friends. So, for Koreans who are interested in studying English, I would be very happy to do some language exchange. My Korean is still at a beginner level, but I'm getting pretty good at giving directions to taxi drivers. <.<

I've also had two semesters of Japanese courses during university. Although Japanese is no longer the main focus of my study, I would be happy to practice my Japanese ability as well.
