I am learning Swahili now, due to personal reasons.
I am also learning Japanese and some German. The German is mostly just to read texts, so I don't practice the spoken German so much. The Japanese is going slow, and mostly on kanji and vocabulary for text reading also, but would like to practise more spoken Japanese.
I have studied Sanskrit and Filipino languages, so I am in genereal interested in languages, not just for the linguistics, more for how philosophy and worldviews relate to languages. That is also why i don't need to know all languages fluent, although Swahili and Japanese will be interesting for me in that sense.
My main course is Philosophy and Religion, or the History of Ideas, and I am currently working as a public school teacher, teaching English and Norwegian among other things. I have also taught Danish while I was in the Philippines.
My plan now is to learn the languages said, and then take an education in either Management or Paedagogics, while I work.
