I'm an undergraduate student at the university, majoring in English Studies and Literature. I cannot say I'm knowledgeable about literature yet because *unfortunately* I don't really read that often. (shame on me as a lit student tho ;( )
Yet somehow I think I'm sentimental enough to be in love with literature lol? I always merge myself into the works so much (sometimes too much maybe) - that's why I never watch thrillers *_*"
My fav writers and poets are Christina Rossetti and Oscar Wilde.
And I love writing! Well, I'm talkative and noisy in real life too but then I seldom talk about really deep thoughts and reflections (I'm usually a merrymaker so, it'll be awkward if I all of a sudden talk about the meaning of life with my friends lol?)
Therefore writing is a very good way for me to vent my emotions.. I'm the kind of person who always thinks and imagines.. and I feel easily so.. hm.. yes, that's it lol
And I've become really into KPOP and Korean variety shows and dramas these two years and my love has extended to the Korean language and culture too. Usually I'm a very 'last-minute' person and I study only before mid-terms and final exams
That's why I dropped Spanish after a year of study (shame on me again T^T) because it took up too much of my time and I couldn't get very good result for my last-minute cram..
But I'm very passionate (and consistent) with Korean this time.. maybe it's because I listen to kpop songs almost every day and watch korean shows every weekend (actually every Monday and Tuesday because I have to wait for the subbed videos...) So, perhaps this time it's different? I hope so lol
Oops I'm sorry I'm becoming really verbose here.
Alright, in short.
I can teach Chinese (chiefly Cantonese since it's my mother tongue) and to a certain extent English too (since it's my major)
I'd love to brush up my Korean with fellow Korean speakers and lovers~ 연락해봐요~!
