Just heard about this website yesterday,I am looking to improve my french speaking skills. The idea of a 'language exchange' sounds good as both people benefit. I like the french language and spend time in France each year and am keen to be able to participate in everyday conversations with those I meet. I want to be seen as less of a tourist and more of a 'local'....
I am a teacher (not of English!) in a second level school here in Ireland and am hoping that there is a native french speaker out there who is interested in improving their English speaking skills while helping me to improve my french. I am less concerned about the written end of it as I spend time on one or two websites completing exercises. For now, I am hoping to be able to understand the spoken french language. Tuesday or Thursday evenings suit me best. à bientôt
