I’m a university student from Finland, majoring in Swedish translation studies. I also have three minor studies: linguistics and Finnish both compulsory due to my major, and I chose Asian studies as an extra. I’ve been studying Korean and Japanese only since autumn 2012, so I’m a total beginner. I also started taking Welsh lessons at around the same time.
To be honest, I’m awfully busy with my studies, so I probably won’t be able to spend much time online. But I do check my email as often as I can and I’d love to have someone to write to and discuss languages with. I may be able to help with Finnish and English, possibly even with Swedish. And it would be wonderful to have someone to speak Korean, Japanese or Welsh with, even if my skills are quite appalling at this stage. :D
And then a little bit more about me. When I’m not studying I tend to read a lot and listen to music nearly all the time. I have two cats, and my main hobbies are ball-jointed dolls and Haidong Gumdo, in which I have just started taking lessons. I also love photographing and drawing. And travelling, which I would do a lot more if I had the money. So those are my main interests at the moment, although the list goes on and would probably never end if I tried to list everything. ;)
