“You can have brilliant ideas, but if you can’t get them across, your ideas won’t get you anywhere.” Lee Iacocca.
As my promise a few day ago, I would like to start writing English. This is my first trial in this blog, no matter how difficulties I encounter, I really like to treat this learning journey as my improvement. A journey is always better when it is shared. With some readers or even feedback gained which we can discuss what you read and bounce ideas off each other. You do feel free to write back to me either English or Chinese.
To be a competent English speaker is one of my dreams since my childhood. I still remember that I got only the nine marks on my English test in F.2. And later on, there were countless failures of my English learning last 30 years. I don’t say that I am very poor on it now. However, I know I can do it better and wanna to achieve a professional level – which is my personal pursuit.
Although there were lots of methods I ‘ve tied, I don’t give up. If one method gets one consequence, to get a different one should have a different start. So, now I am doing a massive English writing and frequently reading. Then, transferring those ideas to some English speaking tasks, such as Macau Toastmasters meeting ( – English Public speaking Club in Macau) , using more English in my training. “Practice makes better” which is my motto.
