For a good decade now, I've been infatuated with China and, more recently, Taiwan. I've practiced Mandarin day in and day out, listening to countless amounts of Chinese Indie music (That's actually how I came to find some locals that are from Taiwan, through their music.), many classic films such as 食神 and many of the producer's other movies, and lots of Chinese Radio. I can make all the sounds and all the tones, but I don't have enough immersion to actually learn the words themselves or how to properly use them in phrases. And someday I hope to go to school to learn to be an English teacher so I can teach abroad in the countries I love. So I would love to teach anyone about some simple English in exchange for basic understanding of Mandarin (Possibly Taiwanese) phrases and words.
