I have been studying English for a long time: in school, university, courses and self-study. I have been reading and listening a lot, so I understand English very well. But I am not so good in speaking and writing.
At first I would like to improve my speaking skills, pronunciation and increase my active vocabulary.
The best classes i had were like this: the teacher choose a topic (some issue, problem, picture, etc.) and I express my opinion on the topic. The teacher corrects my grammar and pronunciation mistakes.
Our goal is to make me speak 95% of the time of the class. And the themes should be quite difficult for me.
The themes i'd like to talk about is almost everything beginning with "Is it ok to get pregnant at 15?" and ending with "Will the string theory become the universal theory of everything?".
PLEASE, DON'T ASK QUESTIONS LIKE THIS: "Tell me about yourself, your hobbies and interests" - it's really boring. PLEASE, NO MOVIE DISCUSSIONS - I just don't have 2 hours to see a movie before the class.
And one more time, to improve my speaking skills, i believe during the classes I should talk 95% of the time. And I hope the teacher will encourage me to talk and correct my mistakes.
