I am looking to practice speaking Portuguese through a language exchange partner from Brazil, and if available, a person from Rio de Janeiro. Ideally, we would schedule one hour blocks with each each of us splitting the time between english and portuguese conversation. I am moving to Rio in July for 3 years to pursue a Masters Degree at PUC-RIO.
As for myself, I am a native english speaker with a Masters Degree in Transportation & Logistics and a Bachelors Degree in Operations Research / Systems Engineering. I can converse and instruct in technical and less formal aspects of English, although I do not possess any teaching certifications. I am not looking to make money through italki, only to find good speaking partners.
