Good morning, afternoon, evening, or night (forget that last one, I wouldn't want you to leave so soon). My name is Seb, I'm English and a modern languages student at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I am an aspiring polyglot, hoping to one day be fluent in 7 languages. Why 7? No idea! First number that popped into my head when I thought of the plan I think.
I first started learning Japanese because I wanted to break away from latin based languages and really challenge myself. I took it as an extracurricular activity in my first year of University, blissfuly unaware of how obsessed with it I would become.
After 6 months, still with little knowledge of the language I changed it to my major. A year later and i have learnt some basic grammar, ~100 kanjis but have no one to SPEAK with! Last time I checked that's why we have language right?
I may lack fluency, but I am eager to dive in at the deep end at start speaking right away!
ありがとうございます!
