Oh hey there !! I just found italki ( is it pronounced like 'itaki' as in "Shitake Mushrooms" ? )
I'm looking for language partners/advisers in Korean. The reason I want to learn Korean is because I hold a deep fascination for Asian languages.I tried learning Japanese on my own but it was too large a language to learn with a lot of Chinese characters involved.Quite some time later I saw a lot of K-Drama and what i found was that it resembled some of the languages that I know.
About Me : I'm really big on Linguistics.I'm in high-school/college right now .
BTW I can communicate quite well in English ( if I say so myself ) so Koreans who want to practice the English that they learn in school/college or anywhere for that matter are always welcome.
DISCLAIMER : I do not hold a degree in English Literature so don't expect me to answer all your questions on the language structure or grammar . Wait a minute, I can always Google your doubts.
