I'm learning English. I'd like to improve my English by talking with native English speakers and by getting some assistance from them. I can also help those who want to improve their Korean.
I was born and raised in Korea. My mom let me start learning English when I was 4 or 5, but she made me stop it for a few year until I became 3rd grade in elementary school. I think I lost many of the English skills I learned at the young age... I wish she just let me keep learning English so that I could make my English better. XD :)
I love these six English-speaking countries, the U.S., the U.K., Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and Ireland. Honestly, I don't know all about these 6 countries. It's just too much work for me to learn about all these countries, haha. But, I know about the U.S. better than the others. I like the friendly people, the culture, weather, and everything.
I went to California and stayed there for one a half months. I went there from university with other schoolmate. The weather was amazing except the really strong sunlight at noon... haha. :) When people ask me what the best thing was, I always say it was their traffic manner. I loved their traffic manner. Whenever I try to cross the walk, they stop their cars at far distances. One day, I even didn't notice there was a car which was waiting for me to completely cross the walk? I was walking slowly... so I felt sorry after all. Haha.... :) If you already knew, we need to learn the good traffic manners.
I know my English is not perfect yet and still make many mistakes. I always get jealous when I see those Korean-Americans who were born and raised in the U.S... because they could learn English without great efforts. I never watch their videos on Youtube. I get jealous too much... hahaha. :) So, my goals are to make my English really really really fluent like almost perfect because I love English and to make some nice American friends. :D
