a lot might be asking why i am still trying to "learn japanese" eventhough i AM japanese by blood.
well . . .
to make the long story short, i didn't grow up in japan. i'm not a native there, per se. i was still very little when i got here in the Philippines. Although, i do know a little about japan and the language, because i studied (and have been studyING) it here in the Philippines for quite a while.
what i really want now is to RE-learn it (Japanese). i'm referring to the "practice" of the laguage itself. partly because i'm planning to go to Japan this summer. AND partly because i want to get in tune with the nihon-jin in ME, in the deepest core of my being. haha. :D
bottom line:
i want to RE-learn or practice Japanese. Can anyone help? i'd like to make friends with people already residing IN Japan, too. :)
AND
modesty aside, i am fairly fluent in the ENGLISH language eventhough i'm not of american descent. So if you guys and girls need help with ENGLISH (or even Filipino), i'm very happy to be of service. :)
