I graduated from University of California, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Urban & Regional Studies. My year prior to attending UCLA was spent abroad in Weingarten, Germany, where I was exposed to not only Hoch Deutsch (standard German), but also Schwäbish, a southern dialect. I took one year of Swahili in preparation for my service in sub-Saharan Africa with the United States Peace Corps. I am currently serving in Botswana, where I have been learning Tswana. My hobbies include jazz, photography, and snowboarding. I love to teach.
