Hello! God dag! Góðan daginn! Bonjour! Merhaba! etc.
Frist of all, I just want to emphasise that I'm neither here to date, nor simply to make new friends (although I'm open for new friendships, but that will be a bonus). Please, respect this and don't add me if you don't intend to speak to me or if we have no opportunities for language exchange (I teach you, you teach me or we teach each other).
I'm mainly concentrating on Icelandic at the moment, but I would also like to rub up my school French. English language partners are also very much welcome. I would prefer if either of these were your native language, but I'm flexible.
I comprehend all Scandinavian languages well, but I only speak Swedish perfectly, (i.e. I'm not completely fluent in Danish and Norwegian!) However, I can teach you the basic rules of Scandinavian languages (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian), it is enough to get along in a normal conversation just fine.
I'm not a master linguist, but If you ask me, and some others will agree, I'd say that you automatically learn "Scandinavian" when you learn one Scandinavian language. You just need some practice to comprehend the others and to make yourself understood. Hence, feel free to contact me if you have general questions concerning Scandinavian languages, or specific questions about Swedish.
