I am a school administrator and am looking forward to retirement soon. 2009 was my first time visiting Italy. I traveled north to south hitting all the big cities. I loved the wine and the people. I started learning Italian so that I could at least be polite in the Italian language as I traveled. Now I like to learn to be fluent as a way to keep my mind sharp and perhaps to one day spend much more time in Italy.
