My name is Daniela.
I grew up in Germany and at the age of 16 I spent, thanks to a full scholarship, one High School Year in the United States. For the last seven years I have lived and worked as an artist close to Carrara in Italy. Alongside my art I earn some extra money by directing a Bed & Breakfast “Toffolandia”, by giving language lessons and by translating texts. Thanks to my friends, students and visitors from all over the world I have the possibility to cultivate my language skills every day and I enjoy the cultural exchange, although I live relatively isolated with my animals in the mountains.
After the American and German graduations I completed a formation for commercial secretaries in foreign languages (English and French) and foreign correspondence (English).
I have since gained some experience in this area.
Subsequently I decided to make a change in my life that promised more creativity and so I started studying free drawing and illustration in Germany, as well as sculpturing in Carrara, Italy.
Already as a teenager and during my study period I used to give private lessons in English, German and Latin. Furthermore I directed an English course for children ages 5 – 7 years.
Subsequently I opened my Bed & Breakfast in Italy and I added Italian as an additional language. Some of my visitors take the chance and book language lessons during their vacation.
Meanwhile I offer also conversation lessons online via skype in German, English and Italian. That’s a lot of fun.
I adapt myself to the respective necessity of each student and in each case develop a concept for easy, motivating, efficient and successful learning.
Talking, talking, talking and to lose the fear of it is the goal, which opens the door for cultural exchange and international communication.

Mi chiamo Daniela, sono cresciuta in Germania e grazie ad una borsa di studio ho trascorso il sedicesimo anno di vita negli Stati Uniti. Da sette anni vivo e lavoro come libero professionista nel campo artistico vicino a Carrara in Italia e gestisco il Bed & Breakfast “Toffolandia”, impartisco lezioni di lingue ed offro traduzioni. Grazie agli amici, studenti e ospiti da tutte le parti del mondo coltivo quotidianamente le mie conoscenze linguistiche e vivo scambi culturali nonostante io viva abbastanza isolata con i miei animali in montagna.
Dopo la maturità americana e tedesca ho proseguito la mia formazione grazie ad un istituto per corrispondenti commerciali in lingue estere (Inglese e Francese). In seguito ho svolto qualche esperienza professionale in questo settore.
Successivamente ho optato per studi che promettevano più creatività e ho studiato quindi prima disegno e illustrazione in Germania ed in seguito scultura in Carrara, Italia.
Gia da adolescente e durante lo studio davo lezioni privatamente e presso un istituto di lingue Inglese, Tedesca e Latina. Inoltre gestivo un corso di Inglese per bambini di una età di 5 – 7 anni.
Da quando ho aperto il Bed & Breakfast in Italia ho aggiunto anche la lingua Italiana. Alcuni dei miei ospiti approfittano dell’occasione e prenotano lezioni di lingue durante le vacanze.
Da qualche tempo offro anche lezioni di conversazione via Skype in Tedesco, Inglese e Italiano. È un vero divertimento!
Mi adatto alle necessità di ogni studente e sviluppo uno studio facile, motivante ed efficiente. Parlare, parlare, parlare aiuta a perdere la paura della lingua e facilita il raggiungimento dell´obiettivo del corso che apre anche la porta per uno scambio culturale e di comunicazione internazionale.
Sarei molto contenta di sentirvi presto ed anche di vedervi on-line per una lezione di conversazione ed un cappuccino.

ich heiße Daniela, bin in Deutschland aufgewachsen und habe mein 16. Lebensjahr Dank eines Stipendiums in den USA verbracht. Seit 7 Jahren lebe und arbeite ich als freischaffende Künstlerin in der Nähe Carraras in Italien und verdiene neben meiner Kunst mit dem Bed&Breakfast „Toffolandia“, Sprachunterricht und eventuellen Übersetzungen ein Nebenbrot. Dank meiner Freunde, Schüler und Gäste aus der ganzen Welt kultiviere ich täglich meine Sprachkenntnisse und genieße den kulturellen Austausch, obwohl ich relativ isoliert von der Zivilisation mit meinen Tieren in den Bergen wohne.
Nach dem amerikanischen und deutschen Abitur absolvierte ich eine Ausbildung zur kaufmännischen Assistentin für Fremdsprachen (Englisch und Französisch) und zur Fremdsprachenkorrespondentin (Englisch).
In diesem Bereich sammelte ich danach einige Berufserfahrungen.
Anschließend entschied ich mich für einen Wandel, der mir mehr Kreativität versprach und studierte dementsprechend erst freies Zeichnen und Illustration in Deutschland, sowie nachfolgend Bildhauerei in Carrara, Italien.
Schon als Jugendliche und während des Studiums gab ich Nachhilfeunterricht in Englisch, Deutsch und Latein privat und in einer offiziellen Nachhilfeschule. Außerdem leitete ich einen Englischkurs für Kinder im Alter von 5 – 7 Jahren.
Seitdem ich in Italien ein Bed&Breakfast eröffnet habe, kam als weitere Sprache Italienisch hinzu. Einige meiner Gäste nutzen die Gelegenheit und buchen Sprachunterricht während ihres Urlaubs.
Inzwischen biete ich auch online via Skype Konversationstraining in Deutsch, Englisch und Italienisch. Und es macht wirklich Spaß!
Ich passe mich den jeweiligen Lernbedürfnissen jedes einzelnen Schülers an und entwickle ein passend zugeschnittenes Konzept für ein einfaches, motivierendes, effizientes und erfolgreiches Lernen.
Reden, reden, reden und die Angst davor zu verlieren lautet das Ziel, welches die Pforte kulturellen Austauschs und internationaler Verständigung öffnet.
