I am a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner. I have great admiration for Tibetan culture and have been studying Tibetan from books for 4 years, but have not had much chance to talk with native speakers, so its difficult for me to hear and understand spoken language. My vocabulary is weak, but I know basic sentence structure. I am very determined to become fluent in TIbetan. I am committed to studying it until my death. I have plans to go to a Tibetan speaking community for extended periods of time.
