Time flies... my first language exchange was back in 2004 already! My language partner was a native English speaker in England so much eager to learn Cantonese, while I wanted to brush up on my British accent!
Ever since, my language and culture exchange friends are from all over the world - England, USA, France, Germany, Africa etc etc and of course Mainland China... when they came to visit HK, I did tour them around this pearl of the orient too :)
