I am an Engineer with a Masters Degree in Electronics, originally from Russia and have been in the US for 20 years. I have been tutoring mostly online for the past year and have only positive feedback from my students.
My method of teaching is well structured and instead of just memorizing words, sentences and some handy speech constructions I prefer to teach the rules how to complete correct sentences. This has a positive effect and my students usually start speaking Russian after about 8 lessons.
I have been working with different ages and language learning skills. My lessons are customized, that means I am going at the student pace and my own system and learning materials. These learning materials include PDF formatted documents for each lesson and multimedia materials, designed and recorded by myself.
