I am looking for language partners and friends on italki who will help me with Japanese. When I was younger I was content learning about Japan through manga, anime, miyazaki movies, and sushi. Now that I am older, I want to have a deeper understanding of Japanese people and their way of life. I am intrigued by East Asian countries because they are so different from the US. I want to talk to Japanese people in Japanese. When I study abroad, I want to truly enjoy that trip.
