I am of Samoan decent. My maternal grandmother was born in Pago Pago Amerika Samoa. I have always wanted to speak the language as its such a beautiful one but was never taught how. I embrace the fact that I am only part Samoan but growing up with just my mothers side of the family and being around the Samoan culture is how I was raised. I have 2 young boys that someday they can also speak the language.
