I am a 40 year old native Englishman currently living in the Philippines. I provide English conversation and grammar lessons to students all around the world using Skype. I am university educated with a degree in languages and am also TEFL certified.
The lessons can simply be general conversation about anything, or they can be centred upon a specific area as requested by the student. I aim to have my students talking as much English as possible in the lessons, thereby giving them every opportunity to practise their language skills.
I also offer my students articles in order that they can practise their reading comprehension and pronunciation; I offer listening exercises; lists of idioms/phrasal verbs/collocations/new vocabulary with definitions and example sentences.
In addition, I prepare Word documents dealing with any specific problems that my students may have. I set things out as clearly as possible, giving details of any applicable grammar rules and of course giving example sentences.
I am also currently assisting several businessmen with business letters/e-mails, telephone role play, business vocabulary and editing English translations of their CV’s/resumes. Furthermore, I have several students who are preparing for their IELTS exam. My rate is 15US dollars per hour.
